Increase the evaluation fee for granting domestic tourist guide cards

 

The Ministry of Finance has issued regulations on rates, collection, remittance, management and use of fees for appraisal and issuance of international travel business licenses; evaluation fee for granting tourist guide card; fee for issuing certificates of explanations; licensing fees for setting up branches and representative offices of foreign tourist enterprises in Vietnam.

Regarding the fee level, the Circular agreed on the fee for appraisal and issuance of international travel business licenses for all three newly granted, renewed and re-granted contents instead of being separated, and increased to VND 3 million / license.

The evaluation fee for tourist guide card is also agreed to be VND 650,000 / card. Currently, this revenue is divided into 2 sections, the payment of international tourist guide card 650,000 VND / card and the domestic payment of 400 thousand VND / card.

The fee for granting new licenses to set up branches and representative offices of foreign tourism enterprises in Vietnam remains the same as VND 3 million / license. The fee for renewal, re-issuance and renewal of this license is VND 1.5 million / license.

The fee for issuing certificates for lecturers (including: new grant, renewal, re-issuance) is VND 200,000 / paper.

The Ministry of Finance also stipulates: Tourism General Department; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Department of Tourism of provinces and cities under central authority are organizations collecting fees and charges.

No later than the 5th day of every month, the fee-collecting organization must send the collected fee amount of the previous month to the account of waiting fee for remittance of the budget opened at the State Treasury.

Regarding the rate of remittance into the State budget, the General Department of Tourism is allowed to retain 60% of the total fee for evaluation and grant of international travel business licenses; deducting 30% of the total collected fee amount for the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism or the Department of Tourism and paying 10% of the collected fee amount into the state budget.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism or the Department of Tourism is allowed to leave 50% of the total amount of evaluation fees issued to tourist guide cards obtained; deducting 40% of the total collected fee amount for the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism and 10% of the collected fee amount into the state budget.

Fees and charges must be paid 100% to the state budget.

This Circular replaces Circular No. 48/2010 / TT-BTC of the Minister of Finance guiding the regime of collection, remittance, management and use of fees for granting international travel business licenses and city license setting up branches and representative offices of foreign tourist enterprises in Vietnam, granting tourist guide cards, issuing certificates of explanation of tourists.
