Quang Nam, An Giang issues a plan to improve the administrative reform index in 2021

 

On August 19, 2021, the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province issued Plan No. 5442/KH-UBND on improving the administrative reform index (PAR) in Quang Nam province in 2021.

The purpose of promulgating the above Plan is to improve the effectiveness of administrative reform in the province; overcome the shortcomings and limitations in the assessment results of the PAR index 2020. Strive for the PAR index of the province in 2021 to increase points and rank up compared to 2020. Strengthening the role and responsibilities responsibilities of heads of units and localities in the process of organizing and performing administrative reform tasks in the province.

According to the plan, Quang Nam province strives that by 2021, the province’s PAR Index will reach 85% or more and be in the group of 20 leading provinces and cities in the country on the PAR Index. Focus on improving and raising the ranking of each field of the PAR Index 2021, specifically: the field of “Directing and administering administrative reform”: striving to be among the top 15 provinces and cities country; the field of “Development and implementation of legal documents in the province”; the field of “Administrative procedure reform”: strive to be among the top 10 provinces and cities in the country; the field of “Reforming the organization of the state administrative apparatus”: striving to be among the top 20 provinces and cities in the country; the field of “Public Finance”; “Building and improving the quality of the contingent of cadres, civil servants and public employees”: striving to be among the top 5 provinces and cities in the country; in the field of “administrative modernization”: striving to be among the top 15 provinces and cities in the country. The impact of administrative reform on the people, organization and socio-economic development of the province: strive to be among the top 20 provinces and cities in the country.

Integrating 100% of online public services at levels 3 and 4 with the National Public Service Portal to facilitate people and businesses in handling administrative procedures; propagate and guide people and businesses on the use and benefits of online public services. 

The People’s Committee of An Giang province assigns specific tasks to provincial departments, agencies, and chairpersons of People’s Committees of districts, towns and cities, focusing on directing, strengthening inspection and urging the implementation. and monthly (before the 25th of every month) to summarize and report to the Provincial People’s Committee the results of implementation (through the focal agency is the Department of Information and Communications)
