Quang Binh promotes administrative reform to improve competitiveness

 

The People’s Committee of Quang Binh province has just issued Decision No. 2246/QD-UBND on the establishment of the Provincial Steering Committee for Administrative Reform to implement the central and local resolutions on administrative reform.

The Provincial People’s Committee issued a decision to establish the Administrative Reform Steering Committee (PAR) in Quang Binh province to implement Resolution No. 76/NQ-CP dated July 15, 2021 of the Government promulgating the Program overall state PAR for the period 2021-2030; Resolution of the 17th Congress of the Party Committee of Quang Binh Province, term of 2020-2025 and specifically the Plan No. 118/KH-UBND dated January 22, 2021 of the Provincial People’s Committee on the implementation of the Action Program 03-CTr/TU approved by the Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, in order to promote PAR and improve the province’s competitiveness in the 2021-2025 period.
 
Quang Binh Provincial PAR Steering Committee consists of 21 members, headed by Mr. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; 02 Deputy Heads are Mr. Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee and Mr. Director of Department of Home Affairs; The 18 members of the Provincial PAR Steering Committee are heads of provincial departments and agencies. The members of the Provincial PAR Steering Committee operate under the part-time regime and according to the regulations on organization and operation of the Steering Committee. Department of Home Affairs is the standing agency of the Provincial PAR Steering Committee, responsible for advising the Head of the Steering Committee to promulgate Regulations and assign specific tasks to the members of the Provincial PAR Steering Committee; decided to establish a working group and ensure the operating conditions of the Provincial PAR Steering Committee…
 
The position, functions and tasks of the Provincial PAR Steering Committee is an inter-sectoral coordination organization, with the function of helping the Provincial People’s Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee to research and direct departments, agencies, branches and localities to implement the implementation of the plan. implement PAR according to programs, plans, schemes and projects of the Government, ministries, central agencies and provinces. Research and propose guidelines, policies and solutions to promote the PAR in the province; give opinions on long-term and annual PAR programs and plans of the province. To assist the Provincial People’s Committee, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee in directing and coordinating between the locality and central ministries and branches in performing PAR tasks; to urge and inspect the implementation of programs and plans assigned by the province or the Government; direct the construction and replication of models and typical examples in PAR and perform other tasks assigned by the Provincial People’s Committee and the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee./.
